From the two levels of "supporting major projects and serving the main battlefield of national economy", we have carried out extensive cooperation with domestic universities, research institutions and enterprises to promote the cross domain application of technology of bio Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute and serve national security and economic development.

(1) Based on bio intelligent manufacturing, the laboratory serves national defense, meets the needs of National Bio intelligent manufacturing industry and other major projects, and establishes strategic cooperation with aerospace science and technology group, aerospace science and industry group, China Academy of Engineering Physics and other units. The Joint Laboratory of space machinery science and technology and other platforms have been established, and fruitful joint research and collaborative tackling work have been carried out in the basic research, technological breakthrough, project implementation and other stages of major projects. In cooperation with aerospace science and technology group, the aerospace science and Technology Research Institute was established to support the approved "2011 plan" and large-scale scientific engineering projects, and to carry out forward-looking research projects such as manned lunar rover and aerospace robot; In cooperation with the first, fifth and eighth research institutes of the group, the on orbit maintenance technology test of tiangong-2 space station and the walking, landing transfer and sampling robot system of Yutu lunar rover were completed; Jointly build key talent base and equipment manufacturing joint laboratory with aerospace science and industry group; Research on laser fusion robot precision positioning device with China Academy of engineering physics has attracted worldwide attention.

(2) Facing the national economic development strategy and the needs of the main battlefield of the national economy, the laboratory has built a high-level Industrial Technology Research Institute, and formed a "continuous mutual feeding" with enterprises in the "production, teaching, research and application" four in one mode.

Boshi Research Institute of Harbin Institute of technology was established with Chongqing Boshi Automation Co., Ltd. to carry out achievement transformation and cooperative research on the bottleneck technology of high temperature bio intelligent manufacturing industry, so as to realize the long-term "mutual feeding" mechanism of "production, teaching, research and application". The research and development of intelligent manufacturing of calcium carbide products is the first in China.
